Overthinking disorder is not really a recognised mental health condition on its own. But let’s face it, overthinking is pretty common amongst people of all demographics but it becomes a disorder if you realise it is affecting your quality of life. Even celebrities like Kendall Jenner (model), Sophie Turner (actress), Chrissy Teigen (model and TV personality), among others have spoken out more on mental health issues connected to this topic. Worrying your mind with constant thoughts could also make you susceptible to develop mental health issues. For others, it could even signal symptoms of mental health disorders like depression or anxiety. According to science, overthinking also disrupts sleep and interferes with your ability to solve problems, and be creative. With that said, overthinking has more unfavourable effects on mental health which is why it’s worth desisting from. In this quiz, you will find out if you tend to overthink a lot.
